Early setup? An hour before kickoff is as early as I do.

No way. Not unless they put an armed guard on my gear.

Only in the rarest of cases. And it'll cost them.

No probs, I'll set it up early, stay on site, run it, and all for free.

There are allot of variables such as distance etc.
I am not a fan as it breaks my day up and something which i do not feel necessary in allot of situations as it only takes me 20mins at a push to set up.
Yep I will charge them a rate of £45 but will try too push for all day djing especially for marquees etc.

Depends but usually I charge. Sometimes its more handy for me... Like if ive got a kids party during the afternoon and a party on the evening... No charge.

Until recently my 2000 lbs gear setup prohibited me from the alterntatives of an early setup (it takes time to build a complete discoteque with a lot of lighting and effects at site - normally 1,5 hour)...
Now I also have a superlight alternative to set up in 10 minutes - and my heavy configuration will cost extra - a fair choice for the client...
I will also normally charge extra if the client wants an early setup with my small configuration...

I always include it in the quote if it's a marquee and then offer the option for me to remain on site for background music/mics for speeches.
There are a couple of venues where it's preferable to setup early as well, so again I just build it into the price.
