    Default mixing

unsure if we would be allowed to re the leagilities but could we perhaps have a forum where people can submit demo's of thier mixing abilities (not full songs nessesarilly and certainly not in a way that anyone can download)

I looked into this a while ago and it can't be done legally. Even if the records are mixed.

I thought that the song could be very low quality and you can get away with it, like the itunes (and the like) 30 sec samples

I'm sure that's a different kettle of fish, 'cos they are selling tunes and pay copyright on them.

Most DJ forums allow you to do this!

This is more of a business aimed site though so can't really say either way.

I don't think you would get many submissions anyway.

We do try very hard to promote the legalities of the industry - so it would be a bit hypocritical if we allowed something we knew to be illegal!

I'd agree, although most likely nothing would come of it, best not to even try
