    With regards to the accessory arms, whilst, as you say, it probably would hold, when you are working in/around/for the general public, bodges aren't really an option, PLI or not. In a different situation, it may be possible/necessary/"suitable" to push things like weight limits a bit. However, in my opinion, whilst DJ'ing for the public is not it. Would it be an option to use a separate tripod with T-bar for the movers?
