    maan, so much choice, thanks for the information though, might be a long shot but does anyone recommend a store I can listen to some of these near the Leeds area?

    now simon at discotechnology had a used one for sale around the £1000 mark,i saw and heard it at the coleville speaker meet and it look in excellent condition and sounded sweet.

    Up leeds way the best shop for PA is Electromusic in Doncaster

    Sort of seconded. Discotechnology may have those Brookes we saw demoed at Cleckheaton, John. For the price, I thought they were very impressive, though not surprisingly I fancied the passive ones. Electromusic is indeed an excellent shop.
