First attempt of an advertisement for a local business brochure which gets released monthly around my Town.

    Print size will be 123mm x 90mm

I like it, but I'm not sure it would appeal to the wedding market?

It looks a little 'clubby' which isn't a bad thing, but it depends where your market is at?

looking good apart from the extra space between "Reliable and"

Also what type of clients are you after as this design would make me think more of a clubby disco etc

I'd swap around the phone numbers and put the office/home/landline first then the mobile

EDIT: Posted same time as Darren lol

I was thinking the same thing, I do tend to aim for a younger market - 18th's, 21st's, etc.

I think it may lose it's "pop" if I tried to make it more 'elegant'

Thing is...its more likely to be 18ths/21sts etc that you get from advertising in such a publication (at least thats what ive found in the past)

Main reason behind that is due to me being at work 9-5 every day, I prefer to be contactable (and my boss doesn't mind me taking calls). Been looking into call-divert from an 0800/0845 number but can't justify the cost at the moment.

Aesthetically it looks good, and will appeal to the younger market. I also like the colours. Not sure of the slight slanting on the design. Sure it's kind of quirky, but it just looks like it's wen't through the printer skewed.

    Nice work though.

Looks nice enough and relevant to your target market but...

... that's slightly larger than a standard Post-it note - and I feel there's probably twice as much text as there should be for an ad of this size, if it's to retain it's impact.

Why not lose the first box entirely, and enlarge the second one (more room then for bigger font etc.) to read "Professional, reliable service for any occasion" followed by the list of party types?

You've used the word "Professional" in the title and in box 1 - no need for two IMO.

Or you might consider removing the web address in the footer and adding .co.uk to your logo? (would mean swapping the green vertical line for a dash though).

I just think you need to find ways to reduce the text amount significantly, and increase the text font size because 4x3" isn't at all big...

Different but very nice. Good simply colour profile and fonts.

Make sure you add bleed - A6 would be a better bet. Cheaper too.
