    Default camping in luxury

We bought this tent a few months back. Its the first time its been out camping over the weekend and what a great tent it is. Loads of space. Its been through a lot of rain on fri/sat night and its not let anything at all in.

its a very big family tent as you can see. Its the Outwell Vermont XL going camping again in less than 2 weeks in it.

Very nice - I've lived in flats smaller than that!

Much cheaper than both at £800.00 new. Could certainly live in it as well. it took us 20 mins to pitch it. It was easy to put it up.

Impressive for a tent, however I just can't figure camping .... You are basically just taking your home comforts albeit in a foldable, constructible and inflatable form and putting them into a field. Then there is the bigger car, trailer, roof box to transport it all in, not to mention the time packing, unpacking, pitching.

Easier to just hire a static caravan?

    Love big tent camping.

We have the Khyam Excelsior XL with the 3m x 4m annex.

We sometimes struggle getting a campsite site with big enough pitch though.
