Default Business Cards- any good deals at the moment

I need a new batch of cards- happy to buy up to 5000 if the price is right- anyone know of any decent deals at the moment??

I have my own design and need front and back printing so dont think Vistaprint is the cheapest option.

£64 seems to be the best price I can find at the moment.

    Thanks

£64.00 for 5000? I'd hate to think what the quality will be like. Do you really need thousands? The biggest batch I ever bought was 2 thousand and I probably still have about 1500 of them left.

Quality over quantity any day for me. Try Toby for your cards. The quality is superb! http://www.bogfrog.co.uk/businesscards.php

Ideally I would like 2 lots of 2500 with different designs.

I have the artwork and it's only Black and White so shouldnt be too pricey.

The card is 350gsm which I am happy with- I always find that the bulk of the cost is set up and delivery, so whether it's 2500 or 5000 it usually doesnt make that much difference.

I have used http://www.premierprint.net in Norwich for the last 2 x 5000 I had printed but I am not sure of present costs so you coulkd email them as it will not cost anything. They have been very good.

The industry standard is 350 gsm matt laminated flyers. Printed in five colours on Silk board.

They will probably be non laminated flyers which you can get for less when they are not
advertised as business cards but as what they actually are cc (credit card) sized flyers

Most printer whack on VAT at 20% so they will charge an extra £13 on top of that!!
Unless you go to an amphibious named company who is not VAT registered

But is it matt laminate? All flyers are 350-400 gsm generally unless digital.

If it is then that a good deal (assuming its litho printed).

If it not then they are just selling you 5,000 flyers.

The going rate for 5,000 A6 (3.5 times the area of a CC) is about £70, so basically you will be ripped off 3 times
in DJ terms its like selling a 1000 watt speaker which is actually 200 watts RMS.
