Didn't the late Tom Wilson release some unmixed compilations a few years ago with loads of Ultrasonic and TTF on them? I recall a cd called something like 'bouncin back - old skool anthems' which had QFX and DJ Professor on it.

Not my cup of tea but probably useful as I occasionally get asked for stuff like this an it is totally out of my comfort zone.

I did a wedding on Friday where the bestman said he was a DJ and was hounding me with the next "old skool" track I should be mixing (after the last one he had asked for!)... I took his requests and mixed them with the others people had asked for and had to push him away. Turned out he was merely a bedroom DJ and could manange a couple of hours... but had never DJd for a whole night! Old School has it's place... but that chap really wanted it to last all night at the risk of alienating the rest of the guests.

The amount of times that's happened to me is unreal, and it can become really tense when you're trying to keep them away from your mixer, humour them and DJ at the same time!

Tom Wilson was one of the nicest guys in the discotheque scene in scotland sadly missed and allways keen to share his talent.. i remember the day he found the new fashion of scratching and promptly ripped the tone arm of a garrard
turntable ...that cheeky smile... "oops perhaps they will invent a deck to cope.." the man was indeed ahead of his time !

What album is this remix of the track on?
Or would any version be ok?

I have been asked to play it this month.
