    Default 'Active Cabs'

I'm in the middle of changing cabs and it's a bit of a jungle out there choosing which to go with.

I understand the fact sound is subjective to personal taste, so I'm asking, what have you heard recently and liked?

What are you using at the moment and why did you go with them?

My maximum budget is £1200 (not a penny more ) and I'd prefer them to ideally weigh <20 kilos.

Well how can you ignore the JBL`s, I have the 315`s and although on spec they dont seem that powerful believe me they are, Since connecting them up to the mc6000 they are so crisp and such a smooth sound.

I have to say I'm not a fan of the JBL's.

Racking my brains and I can't think of an active cab I've heard recently that has blown me away maybe a second hand pair of turbosound milian m15? They are nice but new prices takes you over budget.

RCF 312A's would be worth a listen for that budget. 19kg too.

I love my JBL PRX612M's but they're £250 over budget - although they are only 16kg each!

Not really Glen, although I've been tempted by the RCF 4 Series and the EV ELV 112p so far.

Went with a couple of RCF 422a's, slightly over budget, but hey, what's new ! 16kg's too, so I can carry both with one arm and my sub with the other.
