    I have noticed a marked increase in guests intently listening to the music and then checking what format they were.

    I think in the disco environment where people are talking shouting and there are potential aucostic problems nobody will really be that bothered. I personally use mid range rcf and mackie ,speaers so I'm obvouisly not going for top audio quality anyway.
