Default Can speaker magnets damage equipment?

This is a bit of an odd thread and you will probably think I am nuts but is there any equipment other than hard drives that should be kept away from speakers.
I know it’s not a good idea to store a laptop near a speaker as the hard drive could get corrupted and CRT screens don’t like magnets.
As I don’t have a huge amount of space things have to be stacked closely together and the last thing I want is a digital player or a controller dieing.
Sorry if this is a stupid question!

According to PC World magazine's Myth Busters, a magnet powerful enough to damage a USB flash drive would suck the iron out of your blood cells. Similarly you would need an enormous degaussing magnet to wipe data from a hard drive.

Speaker magnets will not damage your computer.

I concur , just keep your 8 track tapes and your cassettes away from your speakers and you'll be fine..

Putting an external monitor screen next to a speaker can cause permanent damage to it. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt!

That is also an urban myth itself, Iron in the blood cells is not present in a ferromagnetic form, it's present in various chemical compounds i.e. haemoglobin, and therefore is not attracted to magnetic forces however strong. If it were, a MRI scan would probably kill you.
