You say you have no money to spend on this but surely you need to look at what increase in revenue this will create from having a properly designed flyer rather than a clearly home made one? First impressions and all that....

Oh my GOSH - It's a flyer? Will it really be the deciding factor when a client decides wether or not to book me to DJ at their Wedding?

I wondered exactly how long it would take for the "professionally or not at all" views to start coming in. I'm just having a play around, you GUYS have said it looks Micky Mouse, so I wont use it - Simple. No offence taken on my part.

First thing my other half said was that black wasn't a wedding colour.

But change the background colour for something in the ivory range, ditch the silver hearts and I think you will have something simple and classy.

Edit: And Linda just said change the font to something less 'business' looking, a bit more flowery..

I know, but black isn't a wedding colour and we weren't talking about you or your website.

It was the first thing my girlfriend commentated on - so I'd say some probably would, and apart from that, what about the cost of ink if they're being printed at home!

Use cream/ivory paper and the printing costs have just been drastically reduced.

Go and look at wedding suppliers on the internet and see how many there are that use black on their websites and in their marketing.

Yes but as i said i do not think the customer really Cares..
I think its more important whats Text is on the flyer.
If the Flyer was in Gold and ivory for example but the text and information was no good, surely the customer would not like that..

Why on earth do you think most are white then.......sorry but I think the customers do care and there is a very good reason why certain colours are used in Wedding marketing.
