You can use up to 99 decks with the MC6000.
Having used both the HD2500 and VDJ with a soddin' laptop, I think the soddin' laptop is a lot more versatile than the HD and it's no good saying that the HD is specifically for DJing as it still has firmware and a hard drive, which is basically the same as a laptop once it has been optimised.

Leaving aside the advantages of using a laptop anyway (searching, browsing and the bigger physical screen size), it enables the manufacturer to concentrate on the hardware only, working to a known midi standard and provide various mappings for different software.
OK, but my stand is just wide enough to put a 19" flightcase on, where do you propose I put the laptop that I don't want to add to my system anyway? Balance it on my head???
As I said earlier, blinkered

You can stands that fit underneath your case and also stands that attach to the sides of your Ultimax.
Example 1
Example 2
...pair of glasses for Mr Jones.

Kept it simple and what cash I had in my pocket.
Bought the Numark DJ2Go for £46.00. I got to try it out. So simple to use with virtual dj.
Because of its size, its got that "toy" feel about it, but I think it will be fun to use with my laptop at gigs.
Also bought Arriba stackable trolley. Think I got a good deal at £80.00.
Bottom bag takes two revo 3`s, while top bag take all my leads, dmx and starcloth. Hopefully will stand up to the rigours.
Was impressed with some of the lasers on show but as I just bought the little Equinox laser a few months back ,not of use to me.
Got to a couple of seminars which were enjoyable and all in all, a very well run exhibition.
Very noticable the number of exhibitors who were using the new Lite Consoles. Anybody buy one of them?

That you can physically see & touch at all times without having to switch or toggle something to get to them?

See my previous post about balancing the soddin' thing on my head. I don't want to add something that takes up that much room. My HDs are tucked away on the lowest shelf on my stand (just above the wheels) Without having a Toby-like Dangle the laptop above the dancefloor style stand, it isn't viable of feasible

4 decks, certainly. One button to press if you are mixing.

Sorry, but that's no argument and you know it Steve. I've linked to the shelves which don't take hardly any room whichever way you put them.
I know you don't wish to go in this direction which is your choice and fair enough, but your argument doesn't stick with me I'm afraid.

How come you need 4 decks Steve? Is that just for 1 playing and 3 cued constantly?
