always remember, you're unique, just like everyone else......

I'm hosting and singing + disco in a nice but middle-of-the-market golf club just outside Cardiff.
In retrospect, I've majorly undercharged to bag it BUT it's a fairly easy night - not singing until coffee @ 9.30/10pm: just background music until then, 40-50+ age group so no brain surgery for mixing disco between& after, so it'll be "putzi" i recon.
I even get Mrs JonnyBoy to be my "glamorous assistant" this year. ;-)

Doing a relatives house party, free beer and free plugging

Local Indian Restaurant for me. Owner is a good friend. He is a great fan of Motown & Northern Soul, so that makes me very happy.
Payment is being made in Chicken Tikka and Kingfisher Beer over the next few weeks, together with a lift there and back from the teetotal owner.
It's just a small-ish room, 80 people at most, so 10 inch speakers and a T bar of scanners is all that's needed. There's a bit of space for dancing after eating. Hopefully it will be a great night.
