What exactly are you going to do with a dotty effect and some pars for a first dance?

Pars can be set to fade or static on their own without DMX and you wouldn't be using the other effect for a first dance.

    As I said....pointless.

I'll agree, it isn't the greatest lightshow, but getting that control at your fingertips has some merit IMO.

How many more times...I'm not commenting on the light show, just the fact that you can't do a great deal with 4 x pars and a dotty effect.

You can do as much with the dips on the pars normally, hence my comment.

If you are using pars for a first dance, they'll be on static or on a slow fade, which you don't necessarily need a controller for.

    *Devil's Advocate Mode ON*
& if you can't reach the dip switches when you want to go from slow fade to sound to light?
    *Devil's Advocate Mode OFF*

No problem and thanks for the PM.

What kind of pars do you have - let's see if we can get an easier workable solution for you.

Well I did think that a four channel Thomann or Chauvet was about as cheap and simple as you can get. That's why I suggested it earlier. Don't the basic cans need something like this too function?
Excalibur. Older than the average DJ.
