    Would someone like to educate us plebs on here who have never heard of, and do not know what a 'line 6' mic is all about?

    What's different about them? How are they different? If they don't work on 'channels', how do they work? Do you have a link, etc, etc?

    I have the Line6 XD-V30 Digital Wireless currently and will be looking to get the next model up for the advantage of distance and other mic modeling the XD-V55.

    When i get 5 mins i'll write something up

    Looks promising.

    Been looking at the AKG's and the Mhz specs are not being advertised.

    How much are these line six things and what is so different?

    The Line6 Digital Wireless are exactly that - based on Digital Wireless technology 2.4GHz (just like wireless internet technology).

    That was my point I do not understand the specs but was more interested on first hand good and bad points about the microphone systems and any possible issues as opposed to a UHF one.

    Admittedly I was on holiday but need a mic and could not be bothered to think too much about DJing for once. Back now.
