Thread: 60w LED Scanners Vs 575w HMI Scanners ? Which one to buy ?

    Julian > I will do that and try to go with the HMI units then. The only downside will be that i cant rehearse or try out the lights. Have you worked with any computer based control and scanners. Is the visualizer based programming accurate or at least close to what happens in reality ?

    I've played with a few pieces of software and found them to give a reasonable prediction of what the fixtures will actually do once connected. I've generally found whatever I've programmed to need some "tweaking" to account for differences in the environment, fixture positioning, fixture response, etc etc.
