Anybody know what these files are, having a hard drive clear out and have come across a few!. Am i right in saying these are my saved cue points in VDJ or does that get saved to the file/database?

they can be used for a variety of purposes. What kind of file names do they have?

They're often used when burning CDs

All file extensions have a reason. For more info:

    and

    http://filext.com/file-extension/db

Generally speaking, .db is usually associated with thumbs.db which contain the thumbnail graphic for windows folders (ie a snapshot of the folder's contents). Windows will create these for every folder set to show thumbnail graphics so it's not uncommon to have a lot of these on your hard drive.

As for .cue, I understand these are used for CD images but I don't know an awful lot about that. The link I've posted refer's to Alcatec's BPM which uses the file extension to store track cue points. As I used to use BPM on my old XP machines I have seen these files on my old hard drives but still I'm not an expert on them.
