My first NYE, a masquerade ball , black tie fundraising event for 120 people.
Set up for 8pm, sit down meal, music started just after 10pm played till 2am
Rocking from the off, great night.
I appear to be another one who saved moves like jagger for after the traditional Auld Lang Syne.

    01-Jan-2012 00:00:42 VARIOUS - 19 Auld Lang Syne, You'll Never Walk Alone

    Was that by Slade ?

Reason I ask is that I had played my last song but the crowd demanded I played ALS before they left, it was the only one I could find quickly but it was just right and went down a storm.

    Great list by the way

For your FIRST New Year playlist, it's bang on. You should be proud of yourself. I'm sure you had a busy floor for most of the night. Well done

I used the Slade version of ALS after the chimes too. Never fails.

Pretty run of the mill stuff for a NYE party no? No offence intended.
