    Default New user loadable firmware for Denon MC6000

    Hmmm, you'd like the MC6000 mic ducking feature improved you say...?

    ..and even better functionality when using the MC6000 with Virtual DJ too? (the previous firmware update had lots of Traktor features, so things are even now.)

    Well, OK then...new user loadable firmware available today!!!



    In order to download the latest firmware, you need to join the Denon DJ Club, here:

    Then go here:

    Unzip the download to a folder of your choice, then follow the easy .pdf "Read Me First" directions.
    (Please read the PDF instructions that come with the DL file)

    Latest Plug In’s: v1011 (as of Jan 11, 2012)

    • Improved Mic Ducking function.
    • Improved MIDI communication when using two deck operation.

    • Improved pitch slider curve is linear.
    • Improved touch sensitivity on both decks are set to default setting automatically after updating.
    • Fixed random software/hardware freeze over MIDI communication.
    • Improved the function to choose Jog Interval Time (4ms-20ms).

    I did the firmware update to v1011 and all is well.

    The 'Improved MIDI communication when using two deck operation.' seems to be allowing the buffer size to be lower than the 357 ms I'm using. For me this is great because I wanted the latency lower. I won't count my chickens yet though until it's tested more, looking good thus far though.
