    make sure you follow the first set of instructions. you need to setup master/slave before you set the pan inversion etc.
    And obviously you need to connect them with a dmx cable (check the cable is connected to the 'out' socket of the master and the 'in' socket of the slave)

    Many Thanks craig..I just hope it works..I gathered every time i turn them back on they will stop to them setting?

    Hi John,

    You could get a Martin 2510 playback controller, and program it using Martin LightJockey (the software itself is a free download).

    Alternatively, because the Stand Alone mode can be triggered by DMX, you could buy a standard controller to give you full manual control. This will enable you to set static programs for the early part of a function i.e. a slow static colour scroll whilst guests are coming in, then set them to Stand Alone for later in the evening.

    There's plenty of forums on the net which go quite in depth with DMX.
    There's even books on the subject as well.

    Now if you want to go down the route of controlling a lighting rig with a network, then that's a whole new ball game
