I was DJ' ing at an engagement party this last Saturday night.
All things considered it appeared to be going well, with the snow falling quite heavily at times, and the guests drinking even heavier . . . .
We came to the point of smashed glasses on the dancefloor, so I cooled the music down to allow it to be cleared up, which in my mind was the right thing to do.
However customer and guests had other ideas, they wanted music back on regardless of the glass on the dancefloor, and wanted lots of party style good flowing music from 80's and 90's
First point, was I right to make the decision to cool down the music for their own safety ?
And secondly, a list of good flowing tunes from 80's and 90's when you are less than sober ?
Where do you start
