    Default Video to website

    Hi Guys

A friend of mine who produced my website for me is trying to add a video which I made on windows movie maker (wmv file). He is having a problem adding it to the site. Does anyone know an easy way to do this?

    Thanks in advance.

It depends on your hosting and where you are storing the file, My advice is get it on Youtube and use the html or embed code. Also depends if your using a CMS (Joomla/Wordpress) or plain html etc as you can get plugins etc to handle it for you.

Try downloading Real Player Converter (part of the real player package). Perhaps try using that to change the format of the file.

using a WMV is going to shut down who can view the video. something like AVI or MP4 would be the best way to go.

So is it just a case of converting to avi or mp4, and then it should upload ok?
