    Default Bashment?

    Hi Folks,

I have a wedding at the weekend where the bride's daughter is into bashment...

She was not there so could not tell me any songs, thats all I have to work with.

Anyone have any winners they can recommend? ;-)

    Cheers,

i'd say just about anything recent from Vybz Kartel, Mavado, Popcaan, Busy Signal, Gappy Ranks would cover it ...provided of course you can find clean edits. Have a look at Robbo Ranx's playlist at http://www.bbc.co.uk/1xtra/dancehall/ for what's hot at the moment.

it's pretty heavy going though if the daughters going to be the only one there into it, you could go for a safer option and play some slightly older stuff that's a bit more upbeat e.g...

    Fiesta Riddim:-
Beenie Man & Ms Thing - Dude
    Baby Cham - Vitamin S

    Buy Out Riddim:-
Notch - Nuttin No Go So
Mr Easy - She Drives Me Crazy
    Sean Paul - Like Glue

    Or slightly newer...

    Unfinished Business Riddim:-
    Serani - Playing Games
    Mavado - I'm So Special

    Good Life Riddim:-
    Konshens - Good Life
Mr Vegas - I Am Blessed

    Hope that helps, good luck!
