All depends really on the type of singer and song being performed ...
When someone sings a Phil Collins song for example i may apply a Gated/Reverb and Delay
When someone sings a haunting ballad, maybe a Church effect or Big Room.
The standard setting i use generally on my Behringer PMP1680S is the Big Room (No.16).
Sometimes i'll even use the dual FX engines to produce a mixed effect
A Big Room (No.16) and a Delay (No.50) work well together, although don't overly saturate the FX.
Thank you
Glenn
