Kids parties are good fun!
I have read a lot of posts, and a few people shy away from kids parties. While I mostly do adults functions, I have to say that the kids / teen ones we do are probably the most relaxed and great fun. We will do from 12 -16 typically, so more teenagers, but I have found getting them onto the floor and keeping them there is actually quite easy compared to many adult functions, no bar to compete with!
We don't generally coordinate games, but we consult with parents and share a few ideas and get them involved, and it seems to work for us. Glow sticks and rope for limbo is also a hit, with very little effort. And prepping up with the very latest charts is actually great too! So anyone who doesn't do them, give it a try!

I employed another local disco (Devon Discos) to do my childs birthday only last week, rather than do it myself, and a great job he did too.

I am with you heartandsoul. They are very enjoyable. IMO one of the things that makes them enjoyable is that most of the attendees are about the same age. Rather than say a wedding or an adult birthday party, where there can be a range of ages.

Kids parties are my bread and butter.
We do coordinate games etc and they can be quite knackering, but very rewarding at the same time.

Bloody knackering if you ask me - then I don't have kids so I spose you get used to them
They loose interest every ten mins - I love kids parties but its such hard work - or am i missing something?
I would find a dog training day a walk in the park.

I must admit I enjoy doing the kids parties, but I do have children of my own so you sort of know what they like and don't like and that does make it easier.
