I got spares (american plugs) with my QSC k12s last year so there might be people that have the same speakers who dont need them? Sometimes I wonder if its a good idea as I think i'd prefer the sound cutting out than a speaker being pulled down on someone (in the case of the k12s on a tripod)

Thanks for trying though, Chris, as those seem to be the only ones available anywhere.
Will probably have to go for those in the end, I guess. It's not a huge cost, it's just the principle and the 'value for money' that sticks in your throat, isn't it?

Yes - that's what we're hoping, sweetie. You never know, and you won't know until you ask :-)

We're using them in to bass speakers, so quite near the ground, so that's not an issue here, but yes, it's a good point worth thinking about! (She says, hoping that anyone currently using them will now decide that they really should get rid of them )

A huge, big, immense, vast, large, enormous, colossal, gargantuan, trememdous-doubled THANK YOU! to Andy (Deltic) who has some lying around and is popping them in to the post down to us.
God, I love this forum! It's great to be part of a community of people who are prepared to help and put themselves out for each other - as I have so often both witnessed and experienced personally.
Oooh... I'm getting all emotional!
Anyway... thanks again, Andy, and thank you everyone else too who also looked, offered help/suggestions etc - it really is appreciated.

Give me a powercon true1 anyday.
-
Not much good when the speaker has an IEC socket though
-
Rip em out and swap them over.
-
No thanks.... really don't think it's worth voiding a 3-year warranty for!
...but Steve will be making up IEC to powercon cables.
