    Default Isn't London great!

Just recieved a cryptic email from one of this weekend's punters containing the following
Also, from your knowledge can you think of any songs that emphasise London and how great it is ? I ask because one of the organisers has asked that we play Shirley Bassey "There's no place like London" as we are all coming in to eat. I have listened to it and it sounds very old fashioned so I was wondering if you can think of anything else ?
I must admit to being a bit flummoxed by this one.

The immediate track that came to mind was Madness = We are London, but that's not particularly lively & probably less well known than the SB track

I've done a search on the DDJMM software for my HD2500 drives & none of the tracks that contain the word London are particularly appropriate (they all seem to be about one particular person or group of people (London Girl, London Girls, London Boy, London Boys, South London Boy etc) or don't really cover the feel of how great London is (Streets of London, Dark Streets of London, A Foggy Day in London, London Calling etc...)

Grasping at straws the only thing I can think of is Maybe it's Because I'm a Londoner, but again I don't really think it has the right feel.

    HELP!

Now that i've done my vain attempt at humour there is a huge list here but not exactly mainstream as far as I can tell.

I did a search on my HD's too Steve and was surprised at the amount of tunes that there are that have London in the title.
It's finding something appropriate though that's the obvious problem.
The Smiths - 'London' is a great track but not very useful.

There's also a Gary Numan track that he recorded with a band called Radioheart a few years back (not the usual Numan style) and that's called 'London Times' and may be more suitable but I doubt it.
As a song and speaking as a Numan fan, it's rubbish but it mentions London lots of times as it's the main chorus. I also don't think many people would guess it's Numan unless they knew the song. It was a minor hit.

More Camp than a row of tents but I've always liked this record.

Other PSB records talk about London too, like Kings Cross.
