Im paying £21pm for 78mb but I am getting hooked on speed test at the moment and it does fluctuate from 50mb to 100mb. I dont know what you mean by ethernet or wifi (I know what they are) the speed test was done via my main pc which is ethernet to modem.

I have just bought some songs from hmv which used to take about 20-30 seconds to download, No sooner you click the download button they are there on my hard drive ready to go.

    Better than mine...

We pay for a 50mb (5mb upload) package from Virgin Media and having just checked, we're averaging 11mb download and 4.5mb upload.

Happy with the upload, but as i'm the only person on the internet at home at the minute and all i've got open is 1 web browser, I think that's abysmal!

Running on wifi or ethernet? If its WIFI then that can be the cause.

    That sounds brilliant

BT Infinity is coming to our area on 30th June, I can't wait . I've pre-registered my interest and hope to be on it straight away.

I pay €90 a month for 50mb broadband, phone, HD TV with DVR and an extra box upstairs. I connect via wifi on this laptop and get the result below. not bad considering the router is in the next room in a cupboard under the tv !

    I'm with Virgin Media 100Mb

    Test one [London Server]

    Test two [Maidstone Server]

I'm very happy with my service [which is getting a FREE! upgrade to 120Mb in June/July 2012]

    Thank you
