Default Ashes In Endon Near Leek

I thought i would do a venue review on this wonderful venue..I did this venue last night and i travelled around 60mile to get there..It was well worth it as i had a great night and 2 further booking from it.

The Ashes is a magnificent Grade II* listed family home with two listed barns which have been caringly converted to provide an unrivalled venue for weddings, civil ceremonies, functions and corporate events. The East Barn is slightly larger holding around 150, The west barn around 100.

I arrived at 4 o clock to set up after the breakfast at 5.As normal is ran over..The speaches went on and on..Not the venues fault..
I evenually got in the venue at 6.10 to be set up for 7.30..I was set up with Disco and 6 uplighters for 7.15..1st dance at 7.45 with i remember by westwood.Food was at 8.30 and lasted till 9.15..I had to finish at midnight..Overall i had a excellent night and plenty of people dancing..
Now more about the venue and staff..
Staff are Very friendly and easy going.
The access into east barn is very easy and the set up area is around 4 metres in between the 2 doors

Photo 1 - shows outside east barn, This is where the djs set up.
Photo 2 - Set Up Area
Photo 3 and 4 - Set up area and dance floor..Plenty of plug sockets
Photo 5 - Shows a distance photo of the Dance area and the bar is upstairs.

Hope this help Other Djs if they ever need advise etc
