Default When will I get my code on PLI for my website

    Hi,

I have been approved by the PLI Validator site, now I need to get my code so that I can include the PLI graphic on my website, so clients can check my validity.

an early response would be very welcome.

    Many thanks

Why dont you just scan your PLI & PAT certificates and turn them into a PDF file then sit them on your website, this way your clients can open them up and see them for themselves. Its quicker than waitng to be verified, this is what im going to be doing on my own website soon.

Aproved or verified? there is a difference.

Go to the validator site (link top right of all forum pages) & enter your web address in the validate site box, click validate, all the codes shoul be there.

You should have had an email with a link to the codes anyway, but the above method will work.

The vlidator sites were set up to avoid the need to do this & are gradually becoming recognised by venues as a way of checking a disco company meet their requirements.

Verification is done on a weekly basis & the backlog has now been cleared. Is 7 days really too long to wait.

Wouldn't you rather have a reconised approval system as opposed to posting up your certs, something the cowboys can easily fake.

Please remember that the Admins work for free in their own time, also that the service provided costs you nothing. There may have been mistakes in the past, but the current admin under the new regime have certainly got the situation well under control, and I for one think that they should be applauded for their efforts to drag this industry kicking and screaming into this century.

You would be amazed at the amount of times the wrong forms are uploaded or all the neccesary details we require aren't supplied.

Things that can slow down or halt the process:
    * Wrong files uploaded (I've just looked at the latest uploads and mp3 files have been uploaded...oh dear!.
    * Inconsistencies in the details provided
    * Uploading files multiple times.

Those are just a few of the reasons why the process will slow down or halt. I'll personally be processing all new submissions on a weekly basis so if there are any problems with delays of details being processed, then PM me direct.

We do ask members that they ...
    * ONLY UPLOAD THEIR FILES ONCE
    * DOUBLE CHECK THAT THEY HAVE ENTERED THEIR DETAILS CORRECTLY
    * ALLOW 7 DAYS FROM TIME OF UPLOAD FOR PROCESSING.

    Thanks

Fair play to you, I understand that these guys are doing this for free and it is appreciated.
Maybe I will try and re- send it? as it does look neater than the PDF file.

Many thanks for this. I did not receive an email, but I will do what you suggested below. If I have any more problems, then I presume I can come back.

    Once again, Thanks

Hi have tried copying the code shown on the pli validator site, after entering my site. When I click on the link on my page, which is not loaded on my server yet, as need to test it, it still shows that my site has not been validated, even though it has given me the code, and am approved.

Please advise what the problem is.

    thanks
