Don't do it. Unless you remember to take them off each week and clean the dirt underneath them.
They will remove the lacquer off your car if you don't. Trust me I learnt from experience.
A good sign company will supply semi-permanent signage that one ruin your car.

Strange thing is, Darren, yours are a lot thinner than the ones we got from Vistaprint. Ours are pretty good.
Also, going back to post No 2, by their very nature, magnetic signs aren't meant to be left on! If you want something to be left on the van then, yes, vinyl is the way to go. Ours only go on for gig nights / client visits, etc.
I bought some for my van from Vistaprint and the largest ones weren't that big. They are fine though and stay on the back doors. I take them off when I am parking up or driving back from a function.
I've looked at ones for the side of the van and the prices are reasonable from thesignbuilder.
Mine have been on the van for a year , never take them off , rain , wind and motorway speeds +...
Think mine are the thicker ones as well.

cheers so far, i have to have magnetic signs, as i go out under different names - and darren the reason i am looking is because i lost on on the A1 somwhere around darlington, i got these from an ebay store but they have since disapeared, a couple of pals have the square smallish offerings from vista print, but i want larger signs for the sides of my combo van.
