Genre Questions
I'm making this a sticky thread, for when people are tagging files & are unsure of genre specifics.
I've been guilty in the past of tagging virtually every upbeat electronic based track as Dance, rather than going into specifics & doing some research, I guess a lot of them could be tagged as House, I don't know (not my field of expertise, ask me to tell you if a track is Ska, Rocksteady or Reggae however, or Thrash / Death / Black Metal....)
Anyway, I'll start it off.
What genres would you say the following tracks come under?
Clement Marfo & The Frontline = Champion
Far East Movement ft. Cover Drive = Turn Up The Love
Inna = Endless

Steve Mad, bad & dangerous to know www.corabar.co.uk
Better to study for one hour with the wise, than to drink wine with the foolish.
The opinions of Corabar Steve are not necessarily those of Corabar Entertainment, or any of its subsidiaries

Inna - Vocal House (Maybe even Balearic)
The other two. Gawd knows

10s-Rnb, 10s-dance, 10s-dance
Is how I would categorise. I just spilt on decade and rough genre
I then put the track into specific playlists if it fits, so if those were big tracks they might go into 'Current Hits' which gets reviews every month or so.

Come on guys, what genres would you say they are?
I don't appear to have any of these songs, hence my lack of reply!

I always use Wikipedia when tagging tracks so I have:
Far East Movement ft. Cover Drive = Turn Up The Love (Dance)
Inna = Endless (Eurodance)
Could not find any info on this one on Wikipedia and dont have it yet but looking around on the net I would tag it -
Clement Marfo & The Frontline = Champion (Hip Hop)
Hope this helps
