    Default Idea for selling items.

Similar to the folk on FB, can we do bids?

I have a rcf sub, denon mixer etc that I need to shift.

I have no idea how much they're worth and would be happy to let people bid until an agreed time.

Is this something the mods/admins could look into?

We did, and we set up a terrific site linked through the forum called 'DJ Bids'. We asked if people thought it was a good idea; we spent a fair bit of money buying the software; we spent literally hundreds of hours setting it up and testing it. It had all the functionality (possibly even more!) than eBay, and it looked terrific too.......

..... and hardly anyone used it!

We let it go. It wasn't worth throwing good money and time after bad!

.... Oh, and in the days after we abandoned it and reinstated selling directly on forum threads, the forum was flooded with members selling stuff!

Checking out what similar items sell for on Ebay can be a useful pointer, Charlie.
Excalibur. Older than the average DJ.

Depending on condition, the Denon should be worth £175 - £250 and the RCF sub £450-£600.
