the bike bag has done me proud for a year and a half. Only cost £25.

I cant believe prolight could not get thier act together in the first place and bring a bag out with the product!
Bags are not exactly expensive to develop and very cheap to mass produce.

I considered splashing out on a Megabar, and perhaps that would work a bit better, being flush to the stand.

I must admit that I had this thought process too, as the stand does seem a little expensive. However, it is a very well made, quality product and is worth the money!

That does look very good! But that would be a static light, and I suspect most are looking for at least a colour fade.
I use a Mega Bar and it looks great behind it..

My bag arrived today. I'm balls deep in exam paper marking but I'll get it opened over the weekend and let you know what its like.

Broke out the bag and it seems sturdy enough.

I've got the stand and my atlas stands (which to be fair only add another 5 or so KG to the load) in it and with the strap on it feels a bit flimsy as if the strap ends could go.

The carry handle is solid though even with the atlas stands in it. Just hope the strap is OK as ideally I'll be able to carry this on my shoulder with 2 hands free.

i have had an excellent response from every wedding venue manager since buying it which says it all, so definitely not cheap. Even the wedding planner at my main venue came up in the ceremony and said "Mr Toby, this looks much better, more wedding like" (she is French).

worth its weight in gold - I would say the best value for money product I bought this year!!! Look nice and hides all the wires and protects your kit.
