    Great thread. Looking at the responses and I would only need one for music only, I'm looking at Traktor Pro - is it truly portable, as in install it on an external hard drive with all the music on the same drive, then able to play that via any pc/laptop?

    As an ancient CD junkie, based on the thoughts of the assembled brains in this thread, I've just got hold of Traktor to have a play around with a view to being dragged into the 21st century.

    Only got it on Monday and have been in Manchester until about an hour ago, so its still in the box! I will get round to opening it, honest.

    Once I've done the 45 million other things on my to do list.
