Unfortunately, Chris couldn't take action against you as you refuse to give any clues as to who you are!!

Besides, any comments I make are my own and not representative of any other party including this forum or it's owners thereof. Therefore any action you take should be against me solely.

However, I will point out that I couldn't possibly have libelled you as my comments were not directed against a known person or company (as we don't know who you are). However, as Chris is a known person and business then I would suggest that your comments are a smudge against his character and reputation being that directly attacked his reputation in the wording of your post.

Good point, Martin. Even if there were any comments on this thread that could be construed as such, how can you commit libel (slander is spoken) against an unknown person from an unknown company!

I'm a bit rusty on the law when it comes to sueing people but surely you cannot sue somebody when the business that you are suggesting others are insulting is not named and almost impossible to connect with the comments?

This will be the first NYE I have actually done. Enquiries have been thin on the ground so I have taken £400 for a posh guest houss/pub down the road. Add that to a small dry hire and I'll pull in just shy of £500.

Back on topic, not sure why but I've got/had nothing for NYE! It's a shame because the money would have been nice. An evening with family and close friends it is! (Unless somebody comes along waving some notes)
