You know that 27" IMac is calling you! Look at Quidco and Student discounts if it applies, some good deals to be had!

Most things bought for me but probably the following
    - 2 channel midi controller, probably Denon MC3000
    - Software DMX Control
    - Wireless DMX

You're both in Reading so if you want to have a listen to mine at any time to get an idea of how a 12' sub might work with your tops you're more than welcome.
Yes i run K 10 and added some subs this year and tested these and about 8 other models as i really wanted some deep bottom end for larger marquee jobs ,the Ev was as mentioned just a hi fi sound the two that came out on top were Yamaha & Logic Systems went for the Logic but neither light weight.

Might be a good idea or maybe I'll come with you one night if you have an appropriate gig as Staines used to part of my old home town area, also I think I would enjoy one your gigs

We have ordered a 20ft container full of LED furniture, that should keep us quiet for a while, we are also looking at a 5m x 5m LED Video dance floor also, that will probably be a summer purchase though!

Oh and a new 8,000 square foot unit in January!

I have a sneaking suspicious Santa is bringing me a tablet.

Dad: Are you still looking at buying a tablet for DJing with?

Jim: Yeah but I'll wait till the sales.

Dad: Good idea, say can you order me a couple of 32gig mini SD cards from eBay?

    Jim: Why?

Dad: I've bought your mum a tablet for Christmas.

Jim: I thought you'd bought her a cracking laptop?

Dad: Ummm yeah, uh, *mumbles and runs away*

If I'm off the mark then I'll be getting a tablet or a newer laptop in January.

I'm constantly buying lights so no doubt there'll be more of those but the only thing I'm dead set on at the mo is the KAM Gobolaser 550 or whatever it's called. The red and purple one.

Sound wise I might go active but that'll be later in the year.
