Strange how the 'most played/requested' list also contains a majority of the 'banned'

As much as it's not the kind of stuff I listen to, there's a reason people want to hear them at weddings i.e. they're fun and good to dance to.

You really have 8 hours worth of requests on one night?

I must check which venue that was at... but it was more than likely the Caves in Edinburgh.

You can play from 7pm until 3am in the morning for a wedding there.

I used to not bother charging extra past midnight.... but we so many bookings at that place I just had to charge £40 per hour after midnight.

So yes, quite a few times per year can play almost 8 hours in one night.

Nice one Lee, very similar list to us, some in different positions half a dozen or so added or removed but other than that very similar.

Good list that I am redoing all my playlists (going through every single track in my database) which will take a week so I can have a good look at those. Brown Eyed Girl on a ban list however? thats never cropped up on mine and is always a favourite - certainly not cheesy IMO.

Thanks - always interesting to know if you've missed one, or to re-visit a forgotten track

Twice now been asked under no circumstances not to play Brown Eyed Girl at weddings, both times it was a bride and the reason for both was identical, they both basically said that every wedding they have ever been to it's been played and they don't want it played at there's. Simple as that.
