I thought it looked really gimmicky and it is. But you could set this up to control lighting which could be interesting.

In terms of use when it comes to DJing, it probably fits in more of a live performance environment. Great for people who dont want to be tied to a computer. Probably not going to change the world for us mere DJ's.

Bonus points for the price which I think I saw was only £99?

I can see potential with this. Would need some sort of overlay creating, though, to save you having to remember what buttons you've assigned to which features. It's usability will all depend on how responsive the buttons are, though. I know it mentions ultra low latency but it's no good pressing a button then having to wait for your software to process the signal and then carry out the function. I think the quality of it's wireless signal will pretty much make or break it.

I will be keeping an eye on this, though, as I do quite like the idea.

Looks like one of those bop it things.....

Would have to try it for myself.....What benefit does it provide being wireless? Can't really think of one myself....

Yeah, agreed. Since when have wires become inconvenient?! Lots of manufacturers now going down the remote/wi-fi/Bluetooth route.....which frightens me as the sound quality will diminish greatly without cables.

I consider having battery powered microphones a bit of a liability - I don't think I'd rush to introduce the same risk to my controller!!

It does look very gimmicky and I'm struggling to think of serious applications beyond some kind of live performance art - or as a lighting controller as has already been said.

It's cheap enough though that people might buy it. The thought of being able to run the evening from the Bar does appeal

You'd have to put Virtual DJ up on the projector or have VERY good eyesight to read it from that distance

It's one of those things you buy and invent a use for rather than having a need for it already.

Endless possibilities with that little badboy. I can't see myself using it to 'DJ' with though.
