Radio Advert for price of wedding fayre! UPDATED with advert!
I was contacted by a local radio station to me as they are doing a "Wedding Guide" advert to run from Valentines day. I was very sceptical to start with as I've looked at radio advertising before back in 2008:
http://www.forum.mobilediscodirector...t=Radio+advert
However this one is a decent deal this is the offer: The Wedding Guide runs for 6 weeks, 12 hours a day, 7 days a week, There are three messages per hour on a rotation, Giving you a minimum 45 plays
The bit you've all been after knowing.....£149.99 + VAT
The radio station in question has a coverage area of Total resident population 116,471 Total Households 49,125 Owner Occupied 77%
There's no RAJAR figures available but for the same price as a wedding fayre I'll give it a punt and will let you know how it goes.

Good luck, Don`t forget the update.

Seems like a good deal. Good luck with it and let us know how you get on.

I have a radio advert and it's got me at least 2 bookings so far.
Luckily, it didn't cost me too much as the Radio station I present on, I am also a Director for... So it's a kind of perk of the job.
Scott.

Does this include the creating of the advert itself?
If it doesn't I'd reccomened this guy http://www.steviecripps.com/ has done me a couple of voice overs and I was really impressed with how they turned out.

Ok folks the Ad went live today and it follows the news on the hour. There are 3 "Wedding guides" which rotate through.
If you follow the link scroll to the bottom of current advertisers and play Wedding guide 2 it's at the beginning of that.
I'll let you know if there's an increase in webstats and anything comes from it.
