Of course, gobo size depends on how far away the wall/floor is from the light source! These units have enough LED power to reach the back of a huge room and still look sharp
Yea I've seen all the videos on youtube and I'm not arguing that the units aren't bright enough, its just the beam angle looks really small compared to videos of iRocks, SCX500's etc.

I guess you should go with what impresses you most. Each to their own an' all that! The SCX's are really good units and I used them for years, but they are all you will need as they are so busy with lots of beams and a very wide spread. I wanted to introduce more lights into the show, but everything else paled away against those! The only thing I didn't like about them was the ever-changing gobos in sound-2-light mode........patterns changed too quickly and didn't hold on one gobo for very long at all. That can be remedied with DMX I spose.
Not used the iRocks so I can't comment there.
