Default HDD Clone with Denon Music Manager

Has anyone tried to clone their HDD which they use for their Denon Music Manger? If so, does it (as it should) make an exact replica that includes the Playlists/cue points etc?

I copied the entire hard over from one HDD to another (without the use of clone software) and it worked exactly as the original HDD did. All playlists and cue points were intact.

How odd - were they identical HDD's? I tried and lost the playlists, so assumed i needed a clone software.

I will be trying this again...!

Yes, it was an identical HDD to the main one. As long as the 'DENON_DJ' folder is copied over too (as it contains the playlists folder and database file etc) then it should work.
