also worth noting that i only use original cdgs, vcds and dvds and the sunfly player still has\ problems even with brand new discs

I have several players, JVC ( the workhorse) and still works after 6 years.
Kam pro 5000 mk11, plays almost anything, but has to read disc before you can load, not like the JVC. The RSQ Mk11 Neo+ G player, not sure about this one yet. the Performers Choice PK2000, no problems here, but like all dvd players slow to load etc., but does play almost anything, including the Neo+G (sort of).

I am not buying the Vocopro DVX 880K and the CAVs 203G, was looking at the Bluelaser dvd 880 but not sure about this one. These last three are supposed to play DivX and SCDG.

I find it hard to get good quality players in the UK, dont know if anyone else has found this.

    anyone?

RSQ being your answer everyone knew they were the one and the same so they stopped producing them under JVC name leaving it to the more pro RSQ name for karaoke

I have a VocoPro DVX-580G, its the dogs ****! plays 5.1, digital out & even has output for projectors!!! plays variety of media - MP3's, JPEG's, VCD, DVD, CDG(Karaoke!), even has DTS for those film buffs! XLNT piece of kit! V. Small player only 9 1/2" by 7" by 2". Fab for fitting in my mixer case.

What have you used in the past that was gold dust?

Seems best way to get a good review on a wide varity of machines & give people an idea what to look out for or purchase.

Just machines mind.. Am thinking of starting a Review point for all kinds Karaoke needs.
