    Default What's your favourite?

What's your favourite software for organising tracks/playlists and why?

I use VirtualDJ for playout software and organise my playlists and crates through that.

However, for library maintenance and personal use I use MediaMonkey. Chris Dye (PPEntertainments) recommended it to me years ago and it's gone from strength to strength since. It's a very capable piece of software and one that I wouldn't have any reservations in recommending myself.

There are a number of music utilities I use for cleaning up tracks and the like but they've all been discussed on the forum previously.

Pretty much "snap". MM is a very capable tool.

Have to agree with everyone's comment, Virtual DJ for everything from playlists to tagging.

I tend to use Denon DJ Music Manager for organising my playlists.

For tagging needs I use Tag & Rename
I buy all my music online these days, but when I used to rip cd's I used Easy CD-DA Extractor.
For Audio editing I've used Cool Edit Pro for years and years. I don't think they're around anymore though.

Media Monkey is also a great tool. I used to use it a few years ago but never got around to reinstalling it when I bought a new PC.
