Default Is it just me, or is July quiet for everyone?

Ive had a fairly busy May & June and ive got 5 gigs next week, but in July, ive got just 3 bookings for the whole month

Not had many enquiries lately either.

    Anyone else finding July quiet?

No July seems to be the same as any other month although I think 2014 will be very busy

My July isn't particularly busy, June this year and last looks the best month for me if you don't include december.

July is my busiest month, got about 12 bookings in total.

August is about 8 bookings, then it dies down to 4 or 5 from September, which isn't good!

    July is fine for me.
I'm booked every weekend except 13th & 14th as I've taken it off because it's the live festival in town and I'm playing and working there (was DJing there too but I pulled out as I couldn't do everything).

July and Dec are always busy for me due to the number of end of term mid-week school disco's I do.

However, I also have two weddings, a couple of private functions and then two night working walk up gigs. In a couple of cases I have kids parties during the day and then adult functions on the evenings! The only exception to this is the weekend of the 12/13/14th when I just have a kids party on the Friday night.

August is dead for me at present apart from my usual walk up club nights and a family night I do every month. Sept and Oct are looking reasonably healthy at the moment as well.

July's good for me. Not awesome, but pretty good.

I may have discovered the reason for the lack of enquiries recently.

A couple of months ago, I noticed my phone line was a bit noisy, it always went quiet at my end when I was actually talking to someone so I didn't think much of it. I assumed it was probably my old handset getting interference from a wireless router or similar.

Whenever im out the house, I turn on the phone transfer, so I get all calls to my mobile, and I have been receiving calls, however, ive just discovered that calls being made to me when my landline is not transferred to my mobile, are not getting through. Ive no idea how long this has been happening but must assume its been since the line became noisy.

God knows how many enquiries ive missed due to this

Lesson, if there is anything slightly odd about your phone line, get it checked.
