Personally I'd look at playing some reggae early on and not worry about too many beach themed songs, in my experience the novelty soon wears off and they'll want what you'd normally play at a party.

You don't want to make it too clichéd and over the top with beach themed songs.

I agree, too. The requests so far seem like people have just searched their playlists for "Beach", "Summer", and "Sand". I'm wondering if any thought has been given to the actual music itself as opposed to just song titles.

A couple I'd through in are Mysterious Girl - Peter Andre and Move Your Feet - Junior Senior. These work for beach parties!!
