Default ledj matrix 3m x 2m cloth problem

    Hi all,

For some reason when I turn on my ledj cloth all led's come on but stay on static. I have referred to the manual and all dip switch settings are correct. Any help greatly appreciated.

I have the DJ booth version of this starcloth, have you put the SD card in the controller?

If so can you check that it hasn't been formatted or overwritten with other files.

I'd start with these issues then maybe look at the hardware closer for connection issues etc.

The sd card is in the controller, it worked fine last time I used it. Would it work if I took the sd card out?

The SD card contains all of the visualisations, on removal of my SD all I get is a lot of LED's displaying different colours.

It may be worth emailing LEDJ asking for replacement files for the card? Pop it into your PC and overwrite the files, then try again otherwise it's a long & painful process to figure why the data on the card isn't making it to the screen. Very likely that this is a cabling issue if that's the case.

    Is it still in warranty?

We have this cloth and had to return it to the shop with the same issue. They sent it back to LEDJ and they had to replace the entire power / control box.

Have you tried giving the card a bit if a clean with a lint free cloth, just incase the connectors have got a bit dusty.

More than welcome to pop over and try my card in yours or even my controller to try to eliminate what is causing it.

Sounds to me as a Sd card Problem.
Put the card into your computer.
Copy and paste it on to your computer.
Get a new card and copy and paste this onto new SD Card
The slot where you put the sd card back into, give a good blow down and then put the new card in.
All going well this should solve the problem.
