Default i need 5 new song to follow 9 to 5

I've been opening party's with dolly 9 to 5 now for a few years, then I follow with dance the night away then move on to pink get the party started and I go with more modern music for an hour or so, that s just my style, it gives me a feel as to whos in the room.

    but.....

give me 5 more songs that I could play after 9 to 5, I need a change.....

Do you always start with these regardless of your audience demographic?

i never have any particular start song or follow on tracks.
i like to gauge the audience at the event because we're talking from 11 year old birthday's up to golden wedding anniversaries and everything in between.
i find choosing most of the tracks ad hoc keeps me busy and energised as well

Can't say I could operate in that fashion of playing the same sort of songs back to back. Depends totally on what's happening at your event, client pre event requests/desires.

That said if you are having to 9 to 5 which for me is a kinda "hangbags on the dancefloor kinda tune" then I'd follow it with something like Valerie, Oh what a night, Shout (bit of a kick up in tempo but good for a "party starter"). Though it appears people are more happy with an erratic arrangement of songs now that maintaining a flow is more about keeping yourself pleased rather than the general public.....sad as that is...(Which does mean you can follow it with pretty much anything).

    keyboard warriors ......

I only ask for 5 songs that go well with 9 to 5.

maybe I should stick to showing photos of the new equipment I've just bought in an effort to prove I'm much better than you and how much more successful I am like a lot of other posts on here, but I'm not like that I just asked for a bit of inspiration from other fellow like minded dj's, I thank the handful who gave helpful responses.
