Finally I've managed to find software that corrects all the 'corrupt' files within Serato DJ

If you're a Mac user, then I thoroughly recommend using MP3 Scan+Repair - https://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/40263/mp3-scan+repair
It's a free download, and it's cleaned up all my old mp3 files that were recorded way back in 2005/06, probably ripped from CD onto Windows Media on a Windows XP platform. It's removed some inaccurate tagging plus some 'garbage' at the end of each file...which I presume is blank space.

I can now use my Pioneer controller with confidence! I hope this is useful for some of you....I will try to find the PC equivalent and post up here, as I use both systems and need to clean up on my desktop PC too.
